A leading IT consulting firm in Tarragona is looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to design and implement data solutions on Azure. Are you passionate about cloud technologies and data management? Ready to lead and empower a multicultural team within a cutting-edge big data platform?What you’ll do:Design and implement cloud data solutions on Azure, focusing on Databricks, Data Lake, Data Mesh architecture, and Data Management (including Identity & Access Management, permissions, network storage accounts).Manage and resolve tickets related to big data infrastructure issues (e.G., access, firewall, Databricks, DataFactory, KeyVault).Ensure compliance with cloud security and data governance policies while optimizing existing cloud deployments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Germany, Spain, and India to deliver best practices in data security, architecture, and automation.Support and contribute to the development of internal tools, including ticketing system escalations and automation pipelines.What you bring:Proven expertise in Azure Cloud Services, with Databricks knowledge being essential.Strong understanding of Data Lake and Data Mesh concepts and architectures.Programming and scripting skills,
preferably in Python; experience with Pulumi is a plus.Experience working in agile environments (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe).Excellent communication skills, empathy, proactivity, and a continuous learning mindset.High proficiency in English (C1 or above) for effective collaboration in a multicultural setting.Conditions:Modality: FULL REMOTESchedule: Flexible, with an intensive workday on FridaysEnglish: C1 level requiredWant to know more?
