ERNI is seeking a test engineer to validate complex systems through functional and exploratory testing, shaping test strategies and coverage. You will design end-to-end test plans, run manual and exploratory tests, and collaborate with a Test Manager to ensure the testing strategy is followed.

You'll work in a hybrid model in Catalunya, Spain, with ongoing growth, training opportunities, and a supportive team that treats you as more than a number. Salary discussed on first call.

Formación

Solid experience designing functional tests and testing strategies for complex systems.
Strong analytical skills and an end-to-end understanding of system behaviour.
Programming experience with at least one language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java or Python will be a plus.
Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar will be a plus.
Experience with exploratory testing, test environments, test data and defect reporting.

Responsabilidades

You will apply your knowledge of functional testing and exploratory testing to anticipate issues, identify edge cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

With people. Besides your team and manager, you will have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.

And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What you will bring

We ask you to be available for key meetings. Need to leave for a doctor’s appointment or to pick up your child from school? No problem. We trust you to deliver quality work within your 40-hour workweek.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other’s faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
