ERNI is building simulation software for diagnostic workflows and laboratory environments. You will contribute backend solutions using C#/.NET Core, REST APIs, and Entity Framework, with Docker and Git for version control and deployment.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, code quality, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust simulation applications. The position is hybrid, offering mentoring, opportunity to grow technically, and space to influence project decisions

Formación

Proven backend development with C# and .NET Core/.NET.
Experience designing REST APIs and using EF/EF Core.
Hands-on Docker, Git and SQL databases experience.
Strong critical thinking and proactive validation of solutions.

Can you imagine building software that simulates real-time diagnostic workflows and laboratory environments?

Join our expert team to work on a MedTech sector project, contributing to the development of simulation solutions for diagnostic workflows and laboratory environments.
You will apply your knowledge of .NET Core, REST APIs, Entity Framework and Docker to develop and maintain reliable simulation applications and automated testing capabilities.

With people. Besides your team and manager, you will have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.

And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What you will bring

Strong experience developing backend solutions with C# and .NET Core / .NET.
Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs and working with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core.
Hands-on experience with Docker containers, Git and SQL databases.
Critical thinking, proactivity and willingness to manually test implementations and validate solutions before considering them complete.
Experience with DDD, Event-Driven Development, Clean Architecture or Gherkin-based testing is highly valued.

You will be responsible for

developing new functionalities and maintaining existing .NET simulation solutions for diagnostic workflows and laboratory environments. Creating unit tests and manually validating implementations while documenting your work. Collaborating actively with developers, architecture, QA, Product and Scrum roles while critically reviewing AI-assisted code suggestions.

Our working model

We ask you to be available for key meetings. Need to leave for a doctor’s appointment or to pick up your child from school? No problem. We trust you to deliver quality work within your 40-hour workweek.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other’s faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
