ERNI in Barcelona is seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to validate complex systems end-to-end in healthcare projects. You will design functional test strategies and execute manual and exploratory tests to ensure high-quality products.

You will work with a team that supports your onboarding and career growth, with structured development plans and access to internal technical communities. The role offers a hybrid work model and ongoing professional training.

• Solid experience designing functional tests and testing strategies for complex systems.
• Strong analytical skills and an end-to-end understanding of system behaviour.
• Programming experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java or Python is a plus.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar is a plus.
• Experience with exploratory testing, test environments, test data and defect reporting.

Can you imagine using your analytical skills to validate complex systems end-to-end and ensure real product quality?

Join our expert team to work on Healthcare solution, contributing to the design and execution of high-quality functional tests and end-to-end validation. You will apply your knowledge of functional testing and exploratory testing to anticipate issues, identify edge cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

With people. Besides your team and manager, you will have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.

And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What You Will Bring

• Solid experience designing functional tests and testing strategies for complex systems.

• Programming experience with at least one language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java or Python will be a plus.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar will be a plus.
• Experience with exploratory testing, test environments, test data and defect reporting.

You will be responsible for analysing requirements and product behaviour to design functional test strategies and comprehensive test cases. Executing manual and exploratory tests across complex end-to-end systems while identifying risks and edge cases. Preparing test environments and data, documenting results and defects, and collaborating with the Test Manager to ensure the defined testing strategy is followed.

Our working model

We ask you to be available for key meetings. Need to leave for a doctor’s appointment or to pick up your child from school? No problem. We trust you to deliver quality work within your 40-hour workweek.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other’s faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
