A leading powertrain solutions company in Valladolid is seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer. The role involves designing SW algorithms and validating systems for hybrid and combustion engines. Candidates should have a background in embedded systems, preferably with Matlab-Simulink, and excellent English proficiency. Formación

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What You Will Do

• Design the SW algorithms according to the project needs.
• Make the SW specifications by respecting the standards.
• Write the validation plans (functional and dysfunctional).
• Assure the MIL (Model In Loop) validation, deliver the test cases and the validation reports.
• Deliver the documentation for the SW tuning teams: participate in the writing of the calibration. methods, provide pre-calibration datasets and methodologies for the calibration porting.
• Prepare technical reports to inform his clients about his SW developments.
• Report on the advancement of his SW developments.

What We’re Looking For

• A proven track record in embedded SW architecture, design and validation methods for embedded SW and MBD with Matlab-Simulink for, at least 3-5 years.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in the engineering field.
• Excellent skills inunderstanding of ICE or Hybrids powertrain and their control systems, coupled with a collaborative mindset.
• Strong competencies in creative, openness and rigour, with a collaborative approach
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; Good working knowledge of Spanish or French would be an advantage.
