GTD Defense & Security Solutions designs, develops, and integrates systems and products to secure and protect people, critical infrastructures, and territories. We create systems supporting peacekeeping, search & rescue operations, training, and simulation tools, from HQ to personnel on the ground.

We are seeking a SW Development Engineer to join our I&C team at GTD Defense & Security Solutions, part of GTD Group, specializing in large, complex, and safety-critical applications. The position is based in Cadiz, San Fernando & Puerto de Santa Maria.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on system integration across mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software domains, mainly for land border surveillance and naval systems, covering all project lifecycle phases : specification, design, production, verification, and validation.

Requirements :

• Experience with Linux Operating System.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming in C++ (QT environment).
• Experience in real-time systems applications.
• Familiarity with static and dynamic analysis tools.
• Experience in build generation and continuous integration, cross, and distributed compilation.
• Knowledge of Docker is a plus.
• Experience in software migration is an asset.

Nice to have :

• Experience with IBM's Change, Synergy, and DOORS tools.
• Experience with naval systems programs and holding a Personal Security Clearance (HPS).
• Knowledge of Combat Systems and / or Command and Control Systems.
• Knowledge of Training and Simulation Systems.
