We are now recruiting a Procurement Sustainability Lead in Madrid, Spain to join our market leading and impactful Operations Sustainability team!

Your purpose: Your primary purpose in this position is to support sustainability initiatives within the dedicated program by collaborating closely with the Procurement Sustainability Program Manager and Procurement teams to assess, implement, and monitor sustainable procurement practices, ensuring compliance with standards and due diligence processes.

Your 'day to day':

• Support the Sustainability Program Lead in developing and deploying sustainability programs and strategies.
• Ensure data robustness and clear metrics for each initiative, aligned with the Program Manager's strategy.
• Assist in engagement activities to raise awareness of procurement sustainability goals, including crafting and preparing training and communication materials for internal and external partners and collaborators.
• Regularly update the supplier engagement plan and align on capability needs internally and externally.
• Collaborate with the team to build a comprehensive view of programs and initiatives, including stakeholder engagement.
• Support the Sustainability Process and Compliance Manager in defining processes and procedures to meet regulatory and reporting needs.
• Work closely with the Program Manager on risk identification and mitigation strategies.
• Perform data validation as required, ensuring supplier data quality.

Who we're looking for:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Business Administration, Procurement/Supply Chain, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of validated experience in sustainability program management, supply chain management, or procurement.
• Proven experience in procurement compliance, due diligence, and supplier risk management.
• Experience in environmental/social audits, carbon accounting, and human rights due diligence.
• Knowledge of procurement or supply chain operations and ESG-related topics.
• Strong curiosity about sustainability and a desire to contribute to environmental and ethical goals.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills for data tracking and sustainability assessments.
• Effective communication skills to engage with internal teams and suppliers.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
