Formación

• 5 años de experiencia en gestión ambiental o sostenibilidad, 3 años en roles de liderazgo.
• Experiencia en comunicación de sostenibilidad a niveles ejecutivos.

How will it be to work with us?

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sustainability strategy supporting Volotea’s long-term goals.
• Ensure sustainability initiatives are integrated into the overall business strategy and comply with current and future regulatory requirements.
• Oversee programs targeting carbon reduction, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) implementation, energy efficiency, waste management, and sustainable procurement.
• Monitor and report on the progress of these initiatives, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments—operations, finance, marketing, and human resources—to promote and implement sustainable practices.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry groups, NGOs, and customers, to advocate for and advance sustainability initiatives.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives.
• Prepare and present regular reports on sustainability performance to the Executive Committee and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards. Identify and mitigate risks related to environmental impact and sustainability.

What will make you succeed in this position:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Aeronautical Engineering, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 5 years of experience in environmental management or sustainability, with at least 3 years in leadership roles, preferably in the aviation or transportation sector.
• Experience in reporting and communicating sustainability topics to executive levels.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful sustainability strategies and programs.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices in the aviation industry.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; proficiency in French or Italian is a plus.
