Jobtailor is seeking a Sustainability professional to lead the development and execution of our global sustainability strategy. You will coordinate reporting, set KPIs and drive continuous improvement across energy, emissions and supply chain.

The role requires experience with ESG frameworks including ISO 14001, CDP, Ecovadis and SECR, plus strong data analysis and stakeholder management skills. Collaboration across functions is essential for success.

Formación

Around three years’ professional experience within sustainability, ESG or environmental management.
Knowledge of climate risk, net zero strategies and corporate sustainability best practice.
Good understanding of ESG frameworks and corporate sustainability including ISO/IEC 14001, CDP, Ecovadis and SECR Reporting.
Experience producing sustainability reports and analysing environmental data.
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel.
Excellent written communication and report writing skills.
Strong stakeholder management across multiple business functions.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Descripción del empleo

Drive the development, implementation and continual improvement of Quantexa’s global sustainability strategy.
Monitor and assess emerging ESG and sustainability legislation, reporting requirements, international standards and industry best practice.
Identify, develop and coordinate initiatives to reduce environmental impact across energy, carbon emissions, waste, business travel, supply chain impacts and office performance.
Establish and maintain sustainability objectives, targets, KPIs and performance metrics; track progress and report to senior management.
Embed sustainability considerations into operational planning, procurement, facilities, supplier management and business decision making.
Support longer-term environmental commitments and transition plans using reliable data and recognised methodologies.
Support and improve Quantexa’s ISO 14001 Environmental Management System across the UK and Spain.
Coordinate ISO 14001 internal audits and management reviews, tracking actions and findings to completion.
Maintain environmental aspects and impacts assessments and legal and regulatory registers.
Coordinate sustainability reporting, including the ESG Responsibility Report, SECR, PPN 06/21, CDP, ESOS, EcoVadis, customer ESG questionnaires, investor due diligence, carbon reporting, greenhouse gas inventories, dashboards and metrics.
Collect, validate and analyse Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions data.
Support carbon reduction initiatives across global operations.
Analyse electricity, gas, travel, waste and water consumption; produce management information and trend analysis.
Manage creation of Quantexa’s carbon footprint report.
Respond to customer ESG due diligence requests and support supplier sustainability assessments.
Monitor supplier ESG commitments and improvement actions; assist with customer sustainability audits.
Prepare papers and reports for Executive Leadership and governance committees.
Maintain sustainability policies, procedures and supporting documentation.
Coordinate action tracking and reporting against strategic objectives.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data quality and processes, benchmark against industry best practice, and support new sustainability initiatives and certifications.
Work across business functions and report directly to the Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Manager, with functional oversight from the Head of Information Security.

Requirements

Around three years’ professional experience within sustainability, ESG or environmental management.

Comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Desirable: Greenhouse gas accounting.
Desirable: Knowledge of CSRD, ISSB and TCFD.
Desirable: Understanding of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and corporate decarbonisation strategies.
Desirable: Knowledge of UK and international environmental legislation and emerging sustainability regulations.
Legally authorized to work in the location of the role.

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in developing and implementing sustainability strategies, with a strong focus on ESG frameworks, ISO 14001 compliance, and environmental data analysis. Capable of managing multiple initiatives to reduce environmental impact while ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and reporting.
