El Instituto de Investigación Química de Cataluña busca 2 Técnicos de Soporte para asistir en la síntesis y caracterización de fotocatalizadores. Los candidatos ideales tienen un título en química o un campo relacionado y experiencia en técnicas de laboratorio. Se ofrece un contrato a tiempo completo vinculado a un proyecto de investigación innovador con una fecha de finalización estimada en 30/09/2025.

Formación

  • Licenciatura requerida en química o campo afín.

Responsabilidades

  • Asistir en la síntesis y caracterización de fotocatalizadores y electrocatálisis.
  • Realizar mantenimiento y operación de equipos de laboratorio.
  • Preparar informes relacionados con los hitos y hallazgos del proyecto.

The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking 2 Support Technicians. This position will be funded by Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades throught the project “Electra-4-Fuel-Fabricación de electrodos altamente eficientes para la producción de CO en electrolizadores en condiciones industrials.”

ICIQ is looking for 2 Support Technicians to work in the group of Prof. Julio Lloret-Fillol.

The selected candidates will assist in the synthesis and characterization of photocatalysts and electrocatalysts, perform routine maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment, including potentiostats, spectrophotometers, and reaction setups, and collaborate with team members on data collection and processing for artificial photosynthesis experiments. Additionally, they will prepare reports and documentation related to project milestones and findings, support the implementation of robotic workflows in experimental setups, and contribute to maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment, adhering to institutional protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates with previous experience in laboratory work, particularly in catalysis electrochemistry, will be highly valued.
  • The role demands proficiency in laboratory techniques such as spectroscopy, electrochemical measurements, and catalyst preparation.
  • Additionally, a good command of English is essential for effective communication and collaboration within the team.

  • Remuneration according to the Institute salary scales.
  • Annual salary split into twelve monthly payments.

Selection Process
