Formación

Responsabilidades

  • Install radiotherapy systems for customers in Spain and partly in Portugal.
  • Provide diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs as after-sales service.

  • Train customers, including physicist teams, on products.

Job Description

From planning to patient treatment, Brainlab's oncology solutions enable clinical personnel to deliver faster and more precise treatments. Our radiosurgery systems, such as Novalis powered by Truebeam, provide non-invasive treatments in minutes and can target tumors anywhere in the body. Their unique technology adapts the beam shape to match the tumor, ensuring the appropriate dose while protecting healthy tissue.

To support our customers in radiotherapy and radiosurgery, Brainlab is hiring a home-office based Field Service Engineer in Madrid.

Main responsibilities include :

  • Installing radiotherapy and radiosurgery systems for customers in your region, Spain, and partly in Portugal and other European countries.
  • Providing after-sales service, including diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Acting as the technical representative of Brainlab, communicating effectively with clients, understanding issues, and responding appropriately.
  • Conducting routine calibrations and preventive maintenance.
  • Training customers, such as physicist teams, on Brainlab products (additional training provided by a dedicated team).
  • Ensuring full service satisfaction for clients.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or Medical Physics.
  • Strong knowledge of informatics and experience diagnosing issues in IT infrastructure and networking.
  • Knowledge of linear accelerators is advantageous.
  • Experience in service / maintenance of robotics and / or electromechanics.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent social, teamwork, and self-management skills.
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time.

Motivated self-starters with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently are encouraged to apply.
