Job summary

Artis BioSolutions Nucleic Acids Center of Excellence in Bilbao is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to support procurement of materials, products and services and to ensure effective supplier management in a GMP-regulated environment.

You will manage POs, negotiate terms, track deliveries and coordinate with Manufacturing, QA and Finance. Excellent Excel skills and English proficiency are required for international supplier communication.

Qualifications

• Education in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supplier management.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational and follow-up skills.
• English B2 or above, with the ability to communicate with international suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Request, analyze and compare commercial and technical quotations.
• Manage purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery dates and conditions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and lead times with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier pricing, commercial conditions and purchasing documentation.
• Support supplier qualification and evaluation activities with Quality Assurance.
• Manage purchasing and supply issues, including delays, shortages and incidents.
• Prepare KPIs, spend analysis and reports; identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, technical teams, Quality and Finance.
• Coordinate transportation and logistics services for product shipments, including shipping documentation.
• Track outbound shipments and ensure logistics follow-up.
• Provide operational warehouse support when required.
• Perform purchasing activities per internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Artis BioSolutions Nucleic Acids Center of Excellence in Bilbao is dedicated to the development and manufacturing of advanced nucleic acid-based products, including DNA, RNA and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) technologies.

We are looking for a Supply Chain Technician to join our team in Bilbao, Spain, supporting the procurement of materials, products and services required across the organization and ensuring effective supplier, cost, delivery and documentation management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Request, analyze and compare commercial and technical quotations.
• Manage purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure agreed delivery dates and conditions.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and lead times with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier pricing, commercial conditions and purchasing documentation.
• Support supplier qualification and evaluation activities in coordination with Quality Assurance.
• Manage purchasing and supply issues, including delays, shortages and supplier-related incidents.
• Prepare purchasing KPIs, spend analysis and reports and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, technical teams, Quality and Finance.

• Track outbound product shipments and ensure appropriate logistics and documentation follow-up.

PROFILE

• Education in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supplier management.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational and follow-up skills.
• English B2 or above, with the ability to communicate effectively with international suppliers.

Experience in the following areas will be particularly valued:

• ERP systems and purchasing tools.
• Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical or life sciences industries.
• Regulated environments and quality systems.
• Procurement of raw materials, reagents, consumables and laboratory equipment.
