Job summary

Artis BioSolutions Nucleic Acids Center of Excellence in Bilbao is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to support procurement of materials, products and services across the organization, ensuring effective supplier, cost, delivery and documentation management.

You will coordinate purchasing with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and Finance, manage purchase orders, track shipments and provide operational warehouse support when required, in a GMP‑regulated biotech environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supplier management.
• Education in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational and follow-up skills.
• English B2 or above, with the ability to communicate effectively with international suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Request, analyze and compare commercial and technical quotations.
• Manage purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery dates.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and lead times with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier pricing, commercial conditions and purchasing documentation.
• Support supplier qualification and evaluation activities with Quality Assurance.
• Manage purchasing and supply issues, delays and shortages.
• Prepare purchasing KPIs, spend analysis and cost optimization.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and Finance.
• Coordinate transportation and logistics services for product shipments and ensure shipping documentation.
