Job Description - Supply Chain Analyst Launch (MER0003O4C)

Description

We are seeking a Launch Supply Chain Analyst responsible for procurement activities for new launch models of Mercedes-Benz after sales.

The Supply Chain Analyst will be a key contact for various supply chain activities, actively guiding suppliers to ensure the constant availability of spare parts for the global Mercedes-Benz after-sales organization.

Main responsibilities include :

  • Managing all logistics operations and assets to guarantee timely, cost-effective spare part availability for new launches, considering various influences.
  • Ensuring accurate master data parametrization for forecasting and order placement.
  • Serving as the key account manager for your portfolio of suppliers and internal / external stakeholders.
  • Managing critical parts and implementing preventive risk management strategies.
  • Participating in demand and capacity management through cross-site collaboration and meetings.
  • Collaborating closely with senior management and supplier managers during bottleneck situations, including escalation meetings.

Qualifications :

  • University degree in Logistics or Business Administration.
  • Negotiation skills, especially with suppliers.
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain activities.
  • Strong conflict resolution and analytical skills.
  • Resilience and flexibility outside standard processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in Business English (verbal and written); German proficiency is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP or similar IT systems.
  • High social competence.
