Are you a legal expert with a profound understanding of port regulatory, corporate, and commercial matters? Do you thrive in a dynamic, international business environment? Euroports MED is looking for a Legal Officer to provide support on all legal aspects of our port operations across Southern Europe.

About the Role

As Legal Officer, you will provide legal support on Euroports’ port terminal business in the Mediterranean area, including Spain, Italy, Greece, and Turkey. This role will provide legal guidance on all aspects of an operational port business, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, manage legal risks, and support business growth.

Reporting to the Regional Managing Director and Group Legal Counsel, you will work closely with stakeholders across the local management teams as well as Euroports Group Legal Team.

Your Key Responsibilities :

  • Regulatory & Concession Matters : Advise on concession-related legal aspects as well as other regulatory matters to ensure adherence to maritime regulations.
  • Business Development & M&A : Support legal aspects of business development projects (including e.g. new joint ventures, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships).
  • Corporate & Governance Support : Manage legal housekeeping for Euroports MED entities, including board resolutions and corporate documentation.
  • Contract Negotiation : Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements and supplier contracts.
  • Risk Management : Assess legal risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard Euroports' interests.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Law degree (master’s preferred) from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate or commercial law, preferably in the logistics, shipping, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of international business transactions and legal frameworks.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation, compliance, and regulatory affairs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a business-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent Spanish and English (additional languages such as Italian, Greek, or Turkish are a plus).

Location & Flexibility

The role is based in Tarragona, though other European locations may be considered for the right candidate. Some travel will be required.
