Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Supplier Development Engineer to lead supplier qualification, audits, and improvement programs across critical materials like gaskets and insulation for transformers. This role can be based anywhere in Europe where Hitachi Energy operates.

You will drive APQP/PPAP, QA processes, supplier performance, and cross-functional collaboration with global teams, while traveling internationally for audits as needed.

Formación

• Engineering degree in Chemical, Process, Materials, Mechanical or similar.
• At least 10 years in supplier development and supplier quality management.
• Experience with chemicals, gaskets or insulation materials in transformer production.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools: Kaizen, DMAIC, A3, 8D, 5Why.
• Willingness to travel internationally for supplier audits and assessments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead supplier qualification via SAP Ariba assessments and global on-site audits.
• Drive improvement actions at suppliers based on audit findings.
• Oversee the global parts approval process for material compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive annual evaluation processes.
• Lead corrective actions and root-cause analysis for non-conformities.
