A leading company in the HVAC and refrigeration sector is seeking a Business Development Manager in Central Spain. The successful candidate will drive sales through a wholesaler network and maintain strong relationships with key accounts. Responsibilities include managing stock levels, participating in trade fairs, and conducting training sessions at distributor branches. Fluency in English and proven experience within a wholesaler network are essential.

Business Development Manager – Central Spain

Our client is a global leader in mini pumps, known for reliable, installer-friendly, and innovative products. With a growing operational footprint including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, India, and the USA, they are expanding their team. They are seeking a Business Development Manager based in or around Madrid to increase sales and market share through key accounts via a wholesaler network.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Work with the Regional Manager to manage key wholesalers/distributors
  2. Identify and target new wholesalers in the region
  3. Expand product range to increase market share with existing accounts through merchandising and training
  4. Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and sales meetings
  5. Monitor stock levels, competitors, and market activities
  6. Conduct training at wholesaler/distributor branches for installers
Candidate Profile :
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven experience working within a wholesaler/distributor network
  • Experience in HVACR, construction, air conditioning, or building materials sectors
  • Independent, proactive, and confident in using initiative
  • Strong commercial insight
  • Track record of sales to wholesaler/distributor networks
  • Willing to travel approximately 75% of the time
