About the role :

As part of the EMEA Quotes & Tender Organization, this position is responsible for leading and developing the performance and processes of Tender, Quotes, and Contracts management across Iberia (Portugal and/or Spain).

The position will be based in Madrid, Spain, and reports to the Quotes & Tender Manager Iberia.

Your responsibilities include :

  1. Managing the daily operations and providing direction to the Quotes & Tender team; monitoring team performance against service indicators, initiating corrective actions, and preparing reports, summaries, analyses, and documentation.
  2. Identifying and pursuing opportunities for process improvement and harmonization, fostering a culture of value improvement to enhance customer satisfaction, embracing new ideas and changes, and encouraging team ownership of work improvements.
  3. Supporting and collaborating on EMEA Pricing & Tender initiatives, including local implementation and change management.
  4. Sharing best practices with other EMEA tender teams to leverage local improvements within Iberia.
  5. Ensuring timely, professional, and legally compliant submission and implementation of quotes and tenders for key stakeholders.
  6. Building strong relationships within the organization, partnering with business leaders, legal counsel, and sales teams to optimize tenders and contracts, and identifying opportunities for sales enhancement and service improvements.
  7. Managing personnel activities for Iberia Quotes & Tender staff, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, salary management, and professional development in collaboration with HR; coaching team members on customer service excellence.
  8. Reviewing terms, conditions, and quality of all tender and contract documentation.
  9. Reporting to the Quotes & Tender Manager Iberia and engaging with the Regional Customer Care Leadership team.
  10. Staying updated on local regulations related to public and private tenders.
  11. Monitoring industry trends and their impact on local/regional sales, with a focus on procurement initiatives in Iberia.
  12. Representing the Quotes & Tender team during internal or external audits in collaboration with Customer Care Management.

What we are looking for :

  1. Degree in Law, Economics, or similar, or at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare sector.
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across organizational levels.
  3. Experience working closely with stakeholders to ensure high-quality tender and contract submissions and identify value-added opportunities.
  4. Strong analytical skills and a business-oriented mindset.
  5. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and structured.
  6. Proactive, responsible, and capable of guiding teams through change.
  7. Resilient, foresightful, and able to manage internal and customer projects under tight deadlines, motivating others.
  8. Fluent/native Spanish; fluent/native Portuguese preferred; good English skills.
  9. Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  10. Knowledge of compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  11. Solid understanding of contract reading and writing.
  12. Understanding of the procurement landscape in Iberia.
  13. SAP experience is a plus.
  14. Experience with Service Cloud is a plus.
