A global service firm in the automotive industry is seeking a Cloud Hosting Service Analyst to manage and optimize their cloud-based services and hosting environments remotely from Spain. This position involves overseeing cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency, while collaborating with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as knowledge of ITIL Service Management.

Formación

  • Expertise in AWS, Azure, GCP, and colocation data centers.
  • Experience managing vendors and business units regarding cloud and hosting services.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Service Management, with relevant certifications (ITIL, Lean IT, DevOps preferred).

Our client is a global service company within the automotive industry, recognized as world experts in their field with a strong foundation in shared values and collaboration. Having embarked on a global transformation, they are seeking a Cloud Hosting Service Analyst to join their team to ensure the success and integrity of their transformation project. This role is 100% remote, based out of Spain, within a supportive and collaborative IT infrastructure team. The Cloud Hosting Service Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud-based services and hosting environments, ensuring their reliability, security, and efficiency, while supporting stakeholders in leveraging cloud technologies effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee daily operations of cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting across platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Tool Management: Maintain tools such as Terraform, Splunk, Github, Moogsoft for cloud provisioning, monitoring, and support, and manage cloud environment configurations with strategic partners.
  • Service Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost-efficiency and performance improvements, monitor execution, and implement enhancements.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security measures, enforce compliance standards, and collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Support: Provide support to internal teams or clients using cloud services and respond to incidents.
  • Change Management & Monitoring: Oversee change requests, monitor performance, forecast capacity needs, and address potential issues proactively.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation and generate reports on system performance, usage, and costs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Provide operational support and collaborate with suppliers and peers to ensure stable cloud hosting environment.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in AWS, Azure, GCP, and colocation data centers.
  • Experience managing vendors and business units regarding cloud and hosting services.
  • Successful experience in cloud migration and data center consolidation programs.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Service Management, with relevant certifications (ITIL, Lean IT, DevOps preferred).
  • Proficiency with cloud management tools such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, AWS Control Tower, and Terraform.
  • Understanding of security protocols, compliance standards, and best practices in cloud environments.
