Siemens Gamesa in Madrid is seeking a Strategic Procurement Work Student to support Global Strategic Buyers, leveraging your Excel and data skills to improve supplier analyses and quote reviews.

You'll assist with sourcing, market screenings, Ariba onboarding, and KPI reporting, gaining exposure to renewable energy procurement and cross-functional teamwork.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Support Strategic Global Buyers in managing supplier relationships.
• Craft and maintain essential metrics and reports for the procurement area.
• Assist with sourcing processes, including requests for quotations and e-auctions, along with quote and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
• Facilitate processes in Ariba, such as onboarding and qualifying new suppliers.
• Help optimize internal procurement processes and conduct supplier and market screenings.

What You Bring

A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to driving change. We are looking for candidates who are:

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, for creating reports, presentations, and datasheets.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills.
• Well-structured with excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Fluent in English (B2+ minimum).

About The Team

In our team, we focus on strategic commodities, specializing in hydraulic components. You will support all commodity managers reporting to the Hiring Manager by organizing data, managing documents, and following up with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of offers. Your role will also involve creating comparative tables and assisting the Hiring Manager with KPI-related presentations and data searches.
