Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Procurement Consultant and Project Manager to drive strategic initiatives in Indirect Material Procurement. You will partner with the Procurement Leadership Team to align priorities and govern key programs across the global organization.

You will coordinate cross-functional workstreams, support planning and OKR implementation, and lead governance, reporting, and continuous improvement while shaping a data-driven, scalable procurement environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or consultancy services.
  • Experience in international projects and cross-cultural environments; SCM experience preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills.

A snapshot of your day

As a Senior Procurement Consultant and Project Manager within Indirect Material Procurement, you drive strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and governance activities across the global procurement organization. You act as a trusted partner to the Procurement Leadership Team, facilitating alignment, enabling decision‑making, and ensuring the successful execution of key priorities.

You coordinate cross-functional initiatives, support strategic planning and OKR implementation, organize leadership and community engagements, and drive continuous improvement across processes, tools, and ways of working. Bringing together stakeholders from different functions, regions, and business areas, you ensure transparency, collaboration, and sustainable delivery of procurement objectives.

How You'll Make An Impact
  • Lead and coordinate strategic procurement initiatives and transformation programs across the organization, driving project planning, execution tracking, status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support the Procurement Leadership Team in shaping priorities, governance structures, and strategic roadmaps, while facilitating workshops, leadership sessions, OKR discussions, and alignment meetings to drive execution and organizational focus.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams and ensure alignment between procurement, business stakeholders, and enabling functions, while developing and maintaining governance frameworks, action trackers, communication plans, and management reporting.
  • Support digitalization initiatives and the adoption of procurement tools, systems, and data‑driven decision making, identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting the implementation of harmonized and scalable solutions.
  • Organize and facilitate global community events, townhalls, best‑practice sharing sessions, and leadership communications, ensuring effective engagement and alignment across the organization.
  • Prepare management presentations, executive summaries, and decision‑making materials for senior stakeholders to support effective communication and informed decision making.
What You Bring
  • A bachelor's degree in Business IT, Software Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or consultancy services, with an understanding of different methodologies and agile processes.
  • Experience in international projects and openness to diverse cultures; preferably in a corporate environment with SCM experience, combined with leadership, people management, and coaching/mentoring skills. Experience with procurement tools is a plus, while proficiency in MS Office and AI digital skills is important.
  • Strong stakeholder & customer relationship management skills, with a customer‑centric and value‑selling approach.
  • Systematic and creative thinking, logical reasoning, and adaptability, with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills and the ability to develop concepts and analyze business requirements.
  • Strong communication skills in English (advanced level).
