Job summary

Siemens Energy invites a motivated Working Student to join the Global Fasteners and CParts team in an international procurement setting. You will collect and analyze supplier data, support Ariba and SAP processes, and help prepare essential documentation and KPI reports.

This role provides hands-on experience with RFQs, e-auctions, contract documentation, and data-driven decision making, with mentorship and growth opportunities within a leading multinational energy company.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or Business.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) for reports.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination in a multicultural team.
• Experience with SAP or Ariba is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support processes in Ariba and SAP, including supplier onboarding and price updates.
• Manage contract documentation and workflows in Ariba.
• Create and maintain KPIs and reports to drive decision-making.
• Assist with sourcing activities such as RFQs, e-auctions, and quote analysis in Ariba.
• Help optimize internal procurement processes and contribute to ad‑hoc projects.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues from around the globe, supporting Corporate Procurement Reporting and making a tangible impact on our sustainability and corporate responsibility goals. Each day, you’ll collect and analyze supplier data, prepare essential documentation, and contribute to key commodity reports. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support processes in Ariba and SAP, including supplier onboarding, qualification, and price updates.
• Manage contract documentation and workflows in Ariba.
• Create and maintain business‑relevant KPIs and reports to drive decision‑making.
• Assist with sourcing activities such as RFQs, e‑auctions, and quote analysis in Ariba.
• Help optimize internal procurement processes and contribute to ad‑hoc projects

What You Bring

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (or have equivalent experience) in Engineering or Business.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for creating reports, presentations, and datasheets.
• Strong motivation, self‑drive, and a keen eye for detail with analytical skills.
• Well‑structured approach with excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Experience with data management tools is a plus (AI).
• You have strong English skills, both written and verbal, and enjoy working independently and as part of a multicultural, global team.
• You’ll need strong analytical skills and attention to detail to succeed in this role. Experience with SAP or Ariba is a plus, but your motivation and willingness to learn are just as important. No travel is required for this position.
