About the role

The primary mission of the Student Success Manager (SSM) is to ensure student retention, motivation, and success in subsidized training programs, while ensuring compliance with regulations. The SSM acts as a key figure among students, the teaching team, and the organization, anticipating dropouts, reviewing documentation, resolving academic or personal issues, and ensuring quality pedagogical and administrative follow-up for each group.

Main responsibilities
  1. Student management, follow-up, and documentation supervision. Review documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and onboarding students at the start of each course.
  2. Identify at-risk students based on attendance, participation, and performance indicators, and follow up accordingly.
  3. Understand the specific regulations of each call for applications to tailor responses to students' needs and requirements.
  4. Conduct sessions explaining non-professional internships.
  5. Proactively contact students to resolve issues or barriers to their continuation. Implement individualized action plans when necessary.
  6. Coordinate regular meetings with trainers to exchange observations on group and individual student progress.
  7. Gather feedback from teachers to detect students with difficulties or group dynamics to improve.
  8. Provide support to trainers in group management and academic follow-up.
  9. Monitor daily attendance records and report justified or unjustified absences.
  10. Ensure attendance data complies with requirements for audits and justification.
  11. Verify documentation provided by students according to the call for applications.
  12. Alert early on issues or risks that could affect course objectives to the Project Manager.
  13. Coordinate with other departments involved (Admissions, Internships, etc.).
Profile requirements

Academic background: At least a Higher Degree.

Experience: Minimum 1 year managing training groups or projects with at-risk or vulnerable groups, unemployed, or marginalized populations. Experience with subsidized programs (SEPE, FUNDAE, SOC, etc.) highly valued.

Key skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Conflict resolution and student-oriented approach. Organizational skills and rigorous administrative follow-up. Proficiency in Excel and academic management platforms.
