Job summary

Safran Engineering Services Spain is hiring for Stress Engineer and CFD Engineer roles focusing on aerospace systems. The positions involve structural stress analysis of metallic and composite aircraft structures as well as CFD and thermal analyses for propulsion systems.

A degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with at least two years of related experience is required, along with English proficiency. The roles are permanent, office-based with a flexible hybrid approach.

Qualifications

• Aerospace/Mechanical degree with at least 2 years of engineering experience.
• English language proficiency: medium-high is required.

Responsibilities

• Stress Engineer role: perform structural stress analysis for aircraft structures ( metallic and composite) and generate reports.
• CFD Engineer role: conduct CFD analyses for aerospace propulsion systems, including 1D/2D/3D CFD and thermal analyses.
• Support modal, dynamic and fatigue analyses and validation against test results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure aerospace flight systems meet safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Stress Engineer: structure and mechanical Analysis engineer for aerospace systems

• Aircraft Structure Stress Analysis (Metallic & Composite)
• Static Linear & Non- linear analysis (buckling). Stress and strength analysis reports.
• Modal Analysis, Dynamic Analysis, Fatigue Analysis
• Sensitivity Analysis, test results comparison and modelling assumption validation.
• Aero-structures and aerospace flight systems.

CFD Engineer: fluid dynamic Analysis engineer for aerospace systems, mainly aircraft propulsion systems and launcher propulsion systems

• Fluid Dynamic Analysis (CFD) static & transient, compressible & non-compressible flow.
• Moving and adaptive mesh: 1D, 2D & 3D.
• Thermal analyses static & transient, considering conduction, convection and radiation.
• Coupled analyses with 1D CFD.
• Aero-engines & aeronautical components.

Qualification & Skills

Aerospace / Mechanical Degree level or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering fields (automotive, aerospace, energy)

Essential skills

• English medium-high level required
