Job summary

Euroleague Ventures SA seeks a Streaming & Media Technology Director to own the platforms powering Euroleague Basketball’s streaming and media propositions. This role manages the OTT platform, media asset management, and integration programs end to end from architecture to delivery across web, apps, and devices.

The candidate will lead technical programmes, drive platform performance, ensure content protection, and coordinate with Marketing Tech, Data, and ICT.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in streaming, OTT or media tech with direct ownership of a live consumer video platform.
• Experience leading technical platform programmes in a live service environment.
• Experience onboarding third-party content and delivering to channel stores, aggregators or partner platforms.
• Fluent in English; Spanish and other European languages are a plus.
• Holds EU nationality and/or valid residency/work permit for Spain.

Responsibilities

• Own the OTT platform architectural roadmap, including ingest, encoding, CDN, DRM, metadata, and delivery.
• Lead major platform programmes end to end: requirements, integration design, testing, cutover and go-live.
• Manage subscriptions/entitlement setup, checkout, and in-stream advertising integrations.
• Oversee content onboarding, rights protection requirements, and delivery to partner platforms.
• Define and maintain operational protocols, incident tracking, and post-incident reviews.
• Ensure geo-restrictions, entitlements, and compliance are correctly reflected on the platform.
