Job summary

Vallum Associates in Europe is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Data Center Infrastructure on a 12-month remote contract. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies for MV, LV, cooling, and generators, coordinating with engineering and construction teams across Europe to meet project schedules.

The role requires 7+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement, strong OEM relationships, and proven negotiation of high-value supply agreements with European suppliers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of data center infrastructure.
• Proven track record negotiating high-value supply agreements.
• Established relationships with OEMs or manufacturers.
• Experience with European suppliers and international supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes and supplier selection.
• Negotiate pricing, framework agreements, and delivery commitments.
• Manage procurement of high-value, long-lead equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to align procurement with schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and supply chain risks.
• Attend supplier meetings and factory visits across Europe.
