Within the ZF Aftermarket Division, the Business Line Digital Solutions enables aftermarket customers across application segments (cargo transport, people transport, industrial applications) to radically increase the efficiency, sustainability, and safety of their operations while meeting the regulatory and visibility standards of their markets. The solutions are based on a mix of connectivity units installed in the vehicles, communicating with a modern cloud-based IoT, data management, and end-user software platform. This is an exciting time to join the Team in our Business Line Digital Solutions as Strategic Senior HR Business Partner. This position can be filled at any location in Europe - preferably Dublin or Barcelona!

About this role :

In this role you will be part of the HR Leadership Team of ZF Aftermarket and the Business Line Digital Solutions and act as strategic partner to the business. By collaborating with your business leaders and our divisional and central HR teams, you shape the future of our high-performing BL workforce, organization, and culture. As the connector and change facilitator between CoEs and SSCs, you help to drive business success through effective, data informed, state-of-the-art people initiatives around talent attraction, talent management, development, and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build a deep understanding of the business model and strategic goals and work closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals, ensuring that workforce initiatives directly support business priorities and financial targets.
  • Partner with our Global Talent Acquisition Teams and external providers to enable your leaders to identify and attract the best talents for the BL.
  • Develop and execute strategies and initiatives for talent attraction, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent retention.
  • Identify training and development needs and work with our CoEs to implement the right programs.
  • Create and roll out career paths for the workforce which are in line with our internal job architecture and philosophy. Nurture a growth mindset, continuous learning, and performance culture.
  • Own the eNPS, collaborate with CoE to conduct employee engagement surveys and assessments to gauge employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster an inclusive and diverse workplace & culture.
  • Ensure that values and leadership principles are understood, adhered to and lived up to within all teams across the BL.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by providing resources, comprehensive communication plan and guidance.
  • Act as change agent and work with leaders on the continuous improvement of the organizational design of the BL.
  • Challenge the status quo of existing processes and structures to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR-related issues.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
  • Work with Global Domain Functions, Centers of Excellence and Shared Services Centers to streamline HR processes and improve service delivery.
  • Be the evangelist of state-of-art HR methods and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, minimizing legal risks.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in Business Administration, HR, Economics, Psychology or related field (preferably master’s degree).
  • 10+ years proven experience in Senior HRBP roles, partnering with Senior Management / C-Suite Level leaders.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling Engineering & Product Teams as well as IT, SaaS Sales & Marketing Teams.
  • Very strong experience in strategy creation and execution in the areas talent acquisition, DEIB, workforce planning, and career frameworks.
  • Entrepreneurial, analytical & growth mindset with excellent skills to lead by influence and coaching.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity by bringing clarity through excellent communication.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo & to question our paradigms.
  • Very strong business acumen combined with understanding of financial and sales metrics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience working across teams.
  • Versed in optimizing processes to business needs to enhance efficiency.
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Comfortable working with data to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Very good change management skills.
  • Fluent in English, additional language skills (e.g. French, German) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel globally.
