Alstom is seeking a Project Buyer in Madrid to define sourcing strategies and manage supplier partnerships for key projects. You will lead supplier selection, market analysis, and negotiations while ensuring on-time, on-budget deliveries across cross-functional teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in purchasing and project procurement, with SAP experience and strong negotiation/analytical skills.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of purchasing and project procurement experience.
• English level: intermediate to advanced.
• Experience with SAP and strong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic project environment.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute sourcing strategies for tenders and projects.
• Lead supplier selection, evaluation and performance management.
• Conduct market analysis to identify competitive sourcing options.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing and terms with suppliers.
• Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time and on-budget deliveries.
• Drive procurement performance through cost optimisation and risk management.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain and project management teams.
