Plug Power, Inc. is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead procurement for manufacturing, establish strong supplier relationships, and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.

You will manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business and at least five years of related experience, excels at communication, analytics, and project leadership, and is comfortable

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or other applicable field of study.
• Five (5) or more years of related work experience.
• Experience in technology manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to self-manage in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent follow-through and professionalism.

Responsabilidades

• Place purchase orders to procure material for manufacturing and other functions.
• Build and maintain cross-functional relationships; communicate timelines and activities.
• Understand build schedules and manage supply chain to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure on-time delivery of parts; follow up on POs with suppliers.
• Manage supplier performance and communicate with stakeholders; adjust supplier base as needed.
• Mentor and advise purchasing staff; train new team members.
