Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas seeks a development team member in Building, Engineering and Maintenance to provide technical support and consultancy for expansion needs across Europe and America.

You will work on early stages of real estate and architectural hospitality projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, performing due diligence, cost estimations, and coordinating with Assets, Expansion and Operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working experience in hospitality
• Master’s degree in architecture
• Fluency in English and Spanish; other languages valuable
• Knowledge of various software (Office, AutoCAD, Acrobat, Revit, BIM, Photoshop); AI experience is valuable
• Hospitality sector knowledge or experience with franchises is desirable
• Knowledge of urban regulation/planning processes
• Familiarity with technical regulations and standards

Responsibilities

• Analyze and draft preliminary functional concepts for hospitality projects and report to Assets, Expansion and Operations teams
• Provide strategic consultancy in early stages of hospitality projects
• Support refurbishment and rebranding cost estimations and PIPs
• Conduct technical due diligence of existing assets
• Assist in negotiating technical clauses in hospitality contracts
• Coordinate technical tasks with other departments across Minor Hotels Europe & Americas
