Job summary

Amadeus in Madrid is seeking a Category Buyer for General Services to join the Global Purchasing team. You will own end-to-end sourcing for HR and indirect services, coordinating with HR, Legal, Finance and regional stakeholders to optimize value and ensure contract compliance.

You will lead RFx, supplier evaluations and negotiations, implement contracts, and drive continuous improvements across recruitment, payroll, relocation and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years in indirect procurement.
• Experience with HR-related services is a plus.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing and contract lifecycle.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and propose alternatives.
• Proactive mindset and strong business understanding.
• Experience with procurement tools (Coupa, contract platforms, SharePoint) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing for HR and indirect services categories, from need identification to negotiation and contract signing.
• Conduct RFx activities, supplier evaluations and fact-based negotiations.
• Implement contracts in coordination with regional buyers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Legal, data privacy and other teams during negotiation and contracting phases.
• Promote procurement’s role by engaging with internal customers and influencing sourcing decisions.
• Coordinate all steps of the sourcing lifecycle, including RFx and contract management.
