Job summary

Talantir in Barcelona, Spain is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide accurate data-based insights into the company’s financial performance. The role oversees accounting processes, produces financial reports, and delivers recommendations for improving financial results.

You'll perform month-end closings, accruals, intercompany reconciliations, and tax filings while collaborating with auditors to ensure compliance. Fluent Spanish and English are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ and/or MBA in Finance, Economics or related field.
• 4+ years in accounting and finance (auditing, consulting, industry).
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software.
• Knowledge/experience with SAP and/or OneStream is valued.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Monthly closing and reporting for the assigned entities.
• Prepare and post month end accruals.
• Review accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, cost and inventory accounting, revenue recognition.
• Reconcile transactions and intercompany transactions.
• Reporting package: P&L’s, Cash Flow, BS, Investment, Capex, Headcount.
• Ensure compliance with local government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Track operating expenses and prepare performance reports with recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with external auditing services to ensure compliance.
• Transfer pricing analysis of intercompany transactions.
• Reporting of Non-Financial Information.
