Job summary

Werfen in Barcelona seeks a Financial Analyst to provide data-based insights into financial performance, oversee accounting processes, and produce key financial reports.

The role requires interaction with multiple departments, month-end closes, intercompany reconciliations, and reporting packages including P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet. Fluent in Spanish and English; 4+ years in finance and a finance degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or MBA in Finance/Economics or related field.
• 4+ years’ experience in accounting and finance.
• Tax accounting / Non-Financial Information reporting valued.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software.
• Knowledge of SAP and/or EPM tools (OneStream) a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Monthly closing and reporting for assigned entities.
• Prepare and post month end accruals.
• Review billing, A/R, A/P, cost, inventory, revenue recognition processes.
• Reconcile transactions and intercompany balances.
• Produce reporting packages: P&L, Cash Flow, BS, Capex, Headcount.
• Assist with regulatory filings and tax submissions.
• Support ESG reporting and process improvements.
• Coordinate with auditors and external advisors.
