Job summary

Olympic Broadcasting Services, Madrid, is seeking a Planning and Budgeting & Analysis Officer to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven insights to inform management decisions, while contributing to an AI‑driven transformation across the finance function.

You will coordinate budgets, strengthen data integrity, and support month‑end close with cross‑department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics or related field.
• 4–8 years’ experience with data-heavy budgeting/analysis in multinational settings.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and financial automation tools; AI exposure desirable.
• Clear written and spoken English; able to explain financial info to varied audiences.
• Ability to solve unstructured problems with financial analysis.
• Collaborative across departments with stakeholders; proactive and detail‑oriented.
• Experience balancing strategic transformation with day‑to‑day operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on creation of project budgets and forecasting updates.
• Coordinate and analyze data from all business lines for budget/forecasting.
• Support month-end closing and ensure financial accuracy.
• Maintain data integrity and adherence to accounting policies.
• Prepare monthly reports for stakeholders and ad-hoc analyses.
• Identify risks and opportunities from actuals vs. plan/forecast.
• Prepare financial presentations for plans/forecasts.
• Build relationships with business partners for timely support.
• Streamline Finance processes and assist with payments and reconciliations.
