BYD Iberia is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee all local finance activities in Spain and Portugal, ensuring compliance with Spanish GAAP (PGC) and IFRS where applicable. You will lead GL, AP, AR, treasury, payroll coordination, and annual audits.

The role requires 5+ years in finance, strong knowledge of tax rules, and the ability to partner with local management to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvements across the region.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• Professional certification (e.g., ROAC , ECA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is a mandatory requirement.
• 5+ years of finance or accounting experience in Spain, including management-level responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC), local tax regulations, and statutory reporting.
• Experience working in multinational environments and with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.).
• Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) is required.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Working experience in Auto industry is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all local accounting and financial operations including GL, AP, AR, treasury, and payroll coordination.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Spanish GAAP (PGC) and IFRS where applicable.
• Take lead for yearly audit process.
• Define the account structure and map local to group COA.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for Spain and Portugal.
• Coordinate statutory filings with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Provide financial insights to management and assist pricing analysis and contracts.
• Track AR/Inventory/Invoices weekly.
• Lead and develop local finance staff or coordinate outsourced accounting providers.
• Continuously improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
