Job summary

Ornua invites applications for a Demand Planner based in Avila, Spain. You will lead the S&OP process, coordinate with Commercial to publish a consensus demand plan, and translate it into an actionable supply plan.

You will select forecasting algorithms and generate baselines while monitoring accuracy to drive continuous improvement. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with forecasting tools, ERP systems, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and experience in demand or production planning.
• Experience with statistical forecasting tools and ERP systems.
• Proficient in data interpretation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• As our Demand Planner you will lead the S&OP process and engage with stakeholders to ensure it works as expected.
• Liaise with Commercial to agree a consensus demand plan for publication in S&OP and to be driven into Demand+.
• Select algorithms for each product or product group and generate a statistical baseline forecast.
• Convert demand plan into a supply plan and monitor forecast accuracy to improve performance.
• Develop supply chain relationships with strategic partners to improve collaborative forecasting.
• Engage with local site teams to understand process constraints and stock management.
• Support consolidation of weekly and monthly Operations reporting.
