About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading high-impact projects, from inception to completion. This includes designing project scopes, advising clients, and collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex projects that combine qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, and strategy development.
- Design research methods that meet client objectives and constraints, utilizing ethnography, foresight, and quantitive methods as appropriate.
- Translate research into actionable business insights, strategies, and value propositions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and support.
- Navigate ambiguity and uncertainty, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Maintain attention to detail, ensuring high-quality outcomes across all aspects of the role.
- Communicate complex ideas and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Deliver projects on time, within scope, and at a high level of quality.
- Develop pitches and proposals for incoming RFPs, showcasing expertise and value proposition.
- Contribute to the development of methodologies and best practices, driving organizational excellence.
- Lead and manage teams, fostering an inclusive and dynamic work environment.
- Coach and develop team members, promoting growth and advancement.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate :
- Possesses knowledge and passion for the intersection of business and social sciences.
- Has expertise in human insight & foresight, including quantitative research (a plus).
- Demonstrates 5+ years of experience in a strategy consultancy, including business strategy, innovation strategy, marketing strategy, or brand strategy.
- Includes 2+ years independently managing complex, multi-stage projects.
- Includes 2+ years in an advisory capacity to senior client stakeholders.
- Includes 2+ years of managing small teams of multidisciplinary experts, with a proven ability to develop, inspire, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Holds a degree in a social science (e.g., anthropology) or business discipline (e.g., MBA).
- Has deep knowledge of verticals such as healthcare, tech, finance, luxury, automotive, or FMCG.
- Is proficient in qualitative research methods and data management, including ethnography, cultural & semiotic analysis, and signal scanning.
- Speaks English and Spanish fluently, with German or French a significant plus.
- Excels in handling ambiguity and divergent ideas.
- Showcases openness to new methodologies and processes.
