EMEA Retail is looking for an experienced Strategic Account Manager for Spain. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and channel marketing strategies at the retailer level.

The position involves managing retail channel partners for Meta hardware products, creating partner-specific business plans, negotiating promotions, monitoring competitor activity, and supporting channel marketing initiatives to drive sales growth. This role focuses on selling innovative new technology through third-party retail partners, contributing to building the next computing platform - the Metaverse. You'll work in a fast-paced, innovative environment to bring the latest technology to consumers.

Strategic Account Manager Southern Europe Responsibilities:
  • Report to the GM Region to manage and drive sales and channel marketing for Meta hardware products in Spain.
  • Drive and manage retail partners, implementing strategies and programs to meet organizational goals.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Develop and present account strategies to stakeholders to align resources and goals.
  • Negotiate and present account programs/contracts, securing internal and cross-functional approvals.
  • Build relationships with cross-functional teams to meet sales objectives, execute joint business plans, and manage launches within budgets and KPIs.
  • Manage account scorecards, budgets, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years in senior sales roles within gaming, entertainment, Consumer Electronics, or relevant product categories, with a proven record of quota achievement.
  • Experience and understanding of the European retail landscape, especially in Spain.
  • Bachelor's degree in business.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and adapt to changing environments.
  • Experience in go-to-market planning and execution across online and traditional retail channels.
  • Existing relationships with key retailers in Spain like Media Markt, Saturn, and El Corte Inglés.
  • Proven success in business planning and tactical execution to drive retail sales.
  • Passion for innovation and disruptive technologies.
  • Experience in channel marketing and category management.
