Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Storage Technical Consultant for Mainframe & Open Systems. You will deliver Global Delivery Services aligned with Statements of Work, translating designs into robust technical solutions and leading delivery with project teams and customers across geographies.

The role requires strong storage and mainframe experience, excellent stakeholder management, and fluency in English and Spanish, with willingness to travel and work flexibly in a global environment.

Global Delivery Services at Hitachi Vantara partners closely with customers worldwide to deliver high‑quality, outcome‑driven technology solutions. The team operates in a collaborative, flexible, and customer‑focused environment, supporting projects from implementation through steady‑state operations. With a strong emphasis on technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement, the team acts as a trusted advisor to customers while representing Hitachi Vantara’s values across diverse industries and geographies.

The role

As a Technical Consultant, you will deliver Global Delivery Services to Hitachi Vantara customers in line with defined Statements of Work. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth transition from implementation to operations, applying independent judgment to design and implement robust technical solutions. Working closely with Project Managers, internal teams, customers, and partners, you will provide clear status updates, high‑quality deliverables, and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. You will also contribute to project reviews, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and build strong customer confidence in Hitachi Vantara’s service delivery capabilities.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in technical consultancy and service delivery
• Strong expertise in storage solutions, particularly in mainframe environments; open systems experience is a plus
• Ability to translate high‑level designs into detailed technical solutions
• Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills
• Strong problem‑solving ability with a proactive, accountable mindset
• Confidence communicating complex technical concepts clearly
• Fluency in English and Spanish
