Talan Group is seeking a Systems Integration Team Leader Engineer in Málaga to guide a skilled IT team in delivering integration projects. You will design architectures, ensure alignment with standards, and drive performance improvements across platforms.

In addition to people leadership, you will contribute as a senior developer on core deliverables. The role includes flexible working arrangements and opportunities to work on international projects.

Formación

• 7+ years of Java/Spring Boot software development.
• Experience with distributed architectures (synchronous REST and asynchronous Kafka/MQ).
• Security concepts: OAuth2 and SSL certificates.
• Strong knowledge of relational SQL databases.
• Cloud computing environments knowledge.
• Project management skills; PM certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a team of IT developers and balance workloads.
• Design technical solutions to meet IT reference architecture.
• Propose software designs following standards and patterns.
• Optimize software and processes for efficiency.
• Ensure the team achieves its goals and milestones.
• Contribute to technical requirements of products/features.
• Understand business logic to propose user-facing enhancements.
• Spend 50% time as a senior developer delivering own work.
• Collaborate on online integration solutions using APIs, microservices, MQ and Kafka.
• Support onboarding and career development for junior members.
• Collaborate on project plans and track commitments.

Systems Integration Team Leader Engineer

As a System Integration Engineer, your mission will be to contribute to the transformation and continuous evolution of the platforms that supports the our client's team:

We need someone like you to help our client in different fronts:

• Manage a team of IT developers, accommodating each team member preferences with the areas in where workload is higher. Balance between team members career path and product time-to-market is key.
• Work on the Technical design so solutions can meet the IT reference architecture
• Propose software designs for applications or components applying agreed standards, patterns and tools. Ability to understand complex architectures with a wide range of technologies which need to talk each other.
• Actively work on software optimization and process efficiency.
• Disposition to do what it takes to ensure the team accomplishes its goals.
• Contributes towards technical requirements of all the products/features
• Understand the business logic so you can propose enhancements to the end-user areas.
• 50% of the time required to work as a senior developer, with you own deliverables.
• Collaborate in the design of online integration solutions to apply to the Transaction Monitoring and Screening products based on APIs, microservices, MQ and Kafka messaging.
• Managing team members workload, support new joiners with their own expertise, assist the junior team members with their career plans
• Collaborate in the project plan creations and follow-ups, assessing if the team honors its commitments and adequately escalating if is not the case

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

• +7years of experience in Java with Springboot framework sowftware development
• Sound experience on distributed architectures, both synchronous (API REST) and asynchronous (Kafka, MQ)
• Security concepts knowledge related to OAuth2, SSL certificates
• Broad SQL Relational database knowledge
• Broad knowledge around Cloud Computing environments.
• Project Management skills (PM certificated appreciated)
• Communication skills: ability to adequately address messages and level of detail to each level in the Organization
• Conflict resolution: Capacity to create an atmosphere of creative thinking adequately managing different views to produce consent solutions.

Nice to have Technology Knowledge:

• Exceptional working ethics, critical thinking skills and attention to details.
• Ability to work both autonomously and together with a multi-skilled distributed team.
• Fluent in Spanish and in English
