A leading company in the renewable energy sector is seeking a Battery Storage and Green Hydrogen professional to manage technical business development and permitting processes in Iberia. The successful candidate will have a strong environmental science background and over two years of experience in the renewable energy landscape. Responsibilities include project management, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring compliance with local regulations to drive successful project outcomes.

Formación

  • Over 2-3 years in Business Development or environmental permitting roles in renewable energy.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish environmental regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead end-to-end project development, managing risks and delivering within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure community engagement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering and finance.

The Green Recruitment has partnered with a leading IPP in the search of a Battery Storage and Green Hydrogen role :

Responsibilities :

  • Permitting management and Technical Business Development of Battery Storage and Green H2 in Iberia.
  • Coordinate and liaison with stakeholders.
  • Coordination and hybridising of projects under development.
  • Arrange site visits and meetings whilst delivering excellent community engagement at each stage of a project.
  • Lead end-to-end project development activities, ensuring projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Manage project risks and opportunities, proactively identifying challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, legal, and environmental specialists to ensure seamless project progression.

Requirements :

  • A Bachelor's or higher degree in environmental science, environmental management, or a related field.
  • More than 2-3 years in Business Development and / or environmental and permitting roles within the renewable energy sector.
  • Profound knowledge of Spanish environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Robust project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in both independent and collaborative work settings.
