Descripción del empleo

What are we looking for

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in low-level programming and a deep understanding of Windows internals to join our Platform group.

SentinelOne's Platform group handles some of our most complex low-level areas, including Windows agents Anti-Tampering (self-protection from malware), network sensors, and other kernel-side features involving both research and development.

Joining this team means collaborating with talented engineers leading features through the entire development lifecycle. Your work will impact millions of endpoints in a key area of SentinelOne's EPP/EDR solutions.

What will you do

  • Work in both user-mode & kernel-mode within our distributed team, designing, developing primarily in modern C (C23), and debugging complex real-world problems, often unseen before. You will continuously expand your knowledge of Windows OS internals and the Endpoint Protection & EDR ecosystem.
  • Design and implement significant new features, rewrite, and reimplement existing ones from scratch. Address performance and optimization challenges given the scale of our cybersecurity software handling hundreds of billions of events daily.
  • Your work will influence the security of tens of millions of Windows devices worldwide, including enterprise and government customers, some in the Fortune 10 and Global 2000.

What skills & knowledge should you bring

  • At least 4 years of experience as a low-level software developer
  • At least 4 years of experience in C programming
  • Experience with Windows Kernel development (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of OS design and internals, especially Windows
  • Experience with Windows low-level development, debugging, and application development
  • Proficiency with Windows debugging and profiling tools
  • Experience working on production-grade, large-scale products
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and across different time zones
  • Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills

Why us

Work on real-world problems with high stakes, protecting against threats like Ransomware, and make a significant impact by preventing security incidents that could make headlines. Join a cutting-edge project, influence core platform architecture, and work with industry-leading experts.
