Seqera is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own the low-level systems powering scientific workloads in the cloud. You'll work on Fusion, Fusion Snapshots, Ignite, and Sched, with a strong architectural lens and hands-on coding across Go and C.

You'll influence multi-cloud orchestration, reliability, and performance, mentor teammates, and contribute to adjacent services like Groundswell and Cloudinfo. A remote-friendly, technically driven culture awaits.

Formación

• Production-grade systems software experience with technical ownership at Staff level.
• Strong in Go and comfortable in C/C++, close to the operating system.
• Solid Linux internals knowledge including filesystems, namespaces, processes, and signals.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and own low-level systems across Fusion, Fusion Snapshots, Ignite, and Sched.
• Write reliable, well-tested code primarily in Go and C, with Rust and JVM where applicable.
• Work close to the OS: FUSE, Linux namespaces, CRIU, process supervision, and static builds.
• Tackle multi-cloud orchestration and scheduling across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Drive performance engineering and improve testing, observability, and reliability.
• Set technical direction and mentor teammates.
