Affirm is seeking a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Acquisition & Onboarding team in Spain. Lead technical direction, architect decisions and improve full-stack velocity across mobile, web, and backend systems to enhance first interaction with customers.

You will define long-term strategy, mentor engineers, and drive high-impact initiatives while collaborating with product, design and analytics to optimize conversion and growth.

Formación

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• Web app development using React, React Native or Vue.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Set technical strategy for a year-long horizon and align with business goals.
• Collaborate across product management, design and analytics to ensure sustainability and trade-offs are understood.
• Act as a force-multiplier by defining technical solutions and operational processes.
• Own team operations, monitoring, on-call readiness and playbooks.
• Set and uphold code review and design standards across teams.
• Mentor and develop engineers on the team, leading by example.
• On-call rotation required.
