Factorial, a leading AI-powered business management platform, is hiring a Staff Engineer for the Infrastructure team in Spain. You’ll lead technical discussions, guide junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable features.

You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, own major initiatives, and shape the quarterly technical roadmap. Office-first with flexible remote options; on-site four days per week in the A Coruña office, with opportunities for focused remote work

Formación

• 8+ years of Software/Systems Engineering experience with 5+ years as Cloud SRE.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting large-scale cloud deployments.
• Hands-on with Terraform or Ansible for IaC.
• Observability experience with Datadog, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Proficiency with AWS or Azure.
• Able to debug issues in Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience managing large MySQL clusters with HA configuration.
• Ability to break down complex problems into clear, shareable elements.
• Enjoy mentoring and helping others grow.
• Professional English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical discussions and guide junior engineers on best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of features.
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and implement effective solutions.
• Own big initiatives and plan a quarterly roadmap with the team, focusing on technical needs.
• Review code and provide constructive feedback.
• Learn from the entire team on performance and architecture topics.
• Share knowledge through RFCs, pairing sessions, mentoring, or Tech All Hands.
