Technosylva is redefining software quality benchmarks in wildfire management. We seek a Staff QA Engineer to lead the quality engineering vision, drive automation, and push AI-driven testing across the organization.

In this leadership role you will define automation direction, own metrics and dashboards, mentor teams, and partner with engineering and product to ship reliable software with measurable quality.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a heavy focus on automation.
• Proven record of resolving complex automation challenges in production (e.g., flakiness at scale).
• Hands-on use of AI in testing, including log analysis and AI-assisted exploration.
• Advanced proficiency in end-to-end and API automation frameworks such as Playwright and Rest-assured.
• Ability to define and interpret quality metrics for decision-oriented reporting.
• Deep expertise in Agile Testing, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mandatory English communication skills (C1); international team experience valued.
• Mentoring and guiding teams on QA best practices.
• Background in .NET development is a plus.
• Experience in data QA (Python, R, Airflow) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Automation Strategy: Define and evolve the automation strategy across pipelines, environments, and frameworks.
• Design scalable automation solutions and reference architectures.
• Act as the primary QA authority in architectural decisions to ingrain quality from design.
• Collaborate with Development, Product, and Platform teams to accelerate value delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies with a critical quality perspective.
• AI-Driven Testing: lead AI adoption across testing lifecycle including automated test generation and failure analysis.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and methodologies, transitioning prototypes to production.
• Quality Metrics & Analytics: model organizational quality metrics, translate data into actionable insights, build dashboards, and identify risks.
• Mentor teams and cultivate a culture of defect prevention and quality excellence.
