Yuno is hiring a Staff Incident Manager to own the major incident lifecycle from detection to resolution across a remote, distributed team. You will lead incident response drills and real-world events, ensuring timely, merchant-facing updates and cross-functional coordination with Support and engineering teams.

You will shape postmortems, drive improvements to runbooks, and align on prioritization for reliability initiatives while maintaining the You Build It, You Run It model across pods in

• Proven experience running major incident response in production systems.
• Strong working knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native operations.
• Experience defining or maturing incident management practices (severity, runbooks, on-call).
• Fluency with observability and incident tooling (Datadog, pager platforms, status pages).
• Excellent written and verbal communication under pressure.
• Comfort with on-call as part of the role.

Responsabilidades

• Act as incident commander on major/critical incidents, coordinating, deciding, and escalating from detection to resolution.
• Drive MTTR and reliability metrics as part of incident responses.
• Run on-call rotations, escalation policies, paging hygiene, and alert quality.
• Own internal stakeholder alignment and merchant-facing status updates during events.
• Run blameless postmortems with concrete action items.
• Translate incident learnings into reliability roadmap items.
• Define and maintain incident severity levels and operating model.
• Report incident trends and reliability posture to engineering leadership.
