I’m partnering with an exceptional SaaS business ranked in the top 1-2% globally, and we’re looking for a talented Principal / Staff Backend Engineer to join their team. This fully remote role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge features for initiatives across the business as they continue to innovate in the space.

What You’ll Do : Design, implement, and optimize complex microservices that scale effectively. Build highly reliable, performant, and scalable systems using Go as your primary language. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, devops) to define and build robust backend architectures. Work with Node.js and TypeScript to integrate backend services with modern web applications. Drive best practices around system design, code quality, and performance monitoring. Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure quality across the engineering team.

What You’ll Bring : 5+ years of experience in backend development, with deep expertise in Go. Strong understanding and experience working with Node.js and TypeScript. Hands-on experience in designing and deploying microservices architectures. Strong familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI / CD pipelines. A passion for writing clean, maintainable code and delivering high-quality products. Experience in performance tuning, scalability, and systems optimization. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
