Yuno is hiring a Staff Engineer to lead architecture and technical strategy across the engineering org. You will mentor engineers, shape the platform’s direction, and tackle hard problems in payments at scale.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery, with AI-assisted tooling and cross-functional collaboration across product and design. You’ll shape architecture for robust, scalable systems, drive high-impact projects, and champion best practices in testing, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience with Go and/or Kotlin
• Solid understanding of architecture principles and design patterns
• Strong problem-solving skills and delivery of scalable systems
• Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, and DevOps practices

You'll take on our hardest technical problems, shape architecture and technical strategy, and turn complex, real-world payment challenges into elegant, maintainable solutions.This is a hands?on leadership role.
