Airalo is seeking a Staff Data Scientist, Pricing to build the pricing analytics and ML capability powering pricing decisions across destinations, data tiers, and customer segments.

You will design demand models, forecast willingness-to-pay, and implement prescriptive pricing with an optimisation layer, while partnering with Commercial and Finance to size opportunities and drive margin impact. Remote, full-time role.

Formación

• Advanced degree in Econometrics, Statistics, OR or equivalent.
• 7+ years in data science with pricing or marketplace economics.
• Production pricing systems experience.
• Hands-on ML across the full lifecycle (feature engineering to deployment).
• Familiarity with optimisation and decision-science methods.
• Experience designing pricing experiments with causal methods.
• Ability to bridge analytics with commercial decisions.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent in Python and SQL; deliverable code.
• AI tooling awareness and practical usage.

Responsabilidades

• Build and own demand and elasticity modelling across destination, duration, data tier and customer segments.
• Develop ML models for demand forecasting and willingness-to-pay; production with monitoring.
• Create prescriptive pricing via optimisation layer considering margins and constraints.
• Design pricing experiments with statistical rigour and causal methods.
• Define pricing within the data ecosystem with governed definitions.
• Partner with Commercial and Finance to connect pricing to margin and opportunities.
• Set analytical standards for pricing and ensure governance across products.
